Following a thorough consultation and explanation, the patient prepares for the treatment by applying local anaesthetic around the labia, vaginal walls and around the clitoris.
Whilst this is having an effect, blood is taken from the patient and it is placed in a very advanced centrifuge, where it is spun precisely to remove the red cells to leave concentrated Platelet Rich Plasma and an amount of Platelet Poor Plasma (PPP). This step may take up to 20 minutes.
A small amount of local anaesthetic is then injected just below the clitoris to help thoroughy anaethetise the clitoral bulb.
The bulk of the PRP is then injected at the entrance to the vagina in the upper wall. This is largely painless.
The remainder of the PRP is then injected at the base of the clitoral bulb.
PPP can then be injected into labia, to revive sagging labial skin and rejuvenate appearance.
